The same year the wasteful incineration contract was signed, to burn items in the blackbin (so-called ‘residual waste’) this was delivered to households in Normanton ward next to Sinfin (where the incinerator is sited) telling people to throw ALL their waste, into the blackbin, for destruction (see contract page) Recycling/composting collections (blue bin/brown bin\) were dismantled,across the city, in breach of the Recycling Act, which commits councils to collecting at least THREE recyclable resources.
